GENTLE-NESS

The meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace.

- (Psalm 37:11)

I will remember to give a gentle answer for this will turn away wrath.

I will take the yoke of Jesus upon me and learn from him, for he is gentle and humble in heart, and I will find rest for my soul.

As a chosen child of God, holy and dearly loved, I will clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

As a believer, I will submit to the government and its officers. I will be obedient, always ready to do what is good. I will not slander anyone and will avoid quarreling. Instead, I will be gentle and show true humility to everyone.

I will worship Christ as Lord of my life. And if anyone asks about my hope as a believer, I will always be ready to explain it with gentleness and respect.

I receive the wisdom from above; first it is pure,then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. I will make peace by actively encouraging goodwill between others for this is how the seed whose fruit is spiritual maturity is sown in peace.
